So... Homecoming, huh?  What's that all about?  Is it another big school dance like that prom thing we had before?  We don't have anything like it in Japan, but it sounds pretty fun!  I don't really have anyone to go with, though...

...Hey, I know! Basketball team!  You guys want to all go in a big group together?  I mean, if none of you have dates either.  I thought it'd be kind of fun if we all just spent the night hanging out or something.  We can still get dressed up, but it'll just be kind of a casual thing.

And Negi-sensei, you'd better save me a dance too!

I suppose formal balls and I are strangers to each other then. I suppose I should say good luck finding a partner, but from what I am hearing, you're going to make plans to be there partner or not.

Right. I have contacted with another magus in this town that has agreed to assist me in teaching you on how to be a proper magus, or rather she'll teach you the traditional methods of magecraft, whereas I will begin to train you during your transformed state and focus on your guns skills. I would assume this would be no problem for you in this arrangement.

It would be more proper for her to give her a formal introduction, but I am confidant that she will teach you well. But there is a good chance you have met her in the school here.

... that point is indeed valid, but I honestly have no desire or interest in things that doesn't seem important enough to me. If anything, you, along with my Servant familiar, your other instructor, and whomever Sakuya is worried about are my main reasons to leave my house for any thing.

Not so much boring but often irritating because my own studies tend to get interrupted from the drone children I am living with.

However, field work isn't exactly a luxury I am granted with until nightfall and at the back yard.
